Mekong Investment Holdings was founded with the aim of becoming a project developer and private equity investor, specializing in development of independent power plant projects located in Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS).

 

Over the past few years, we have been engaging with our strategic partners in development of 1,000 MW power projects in Vietnam and Lao in which 160MW (1 solar farm and 2 hydropower plants) have been achieved commercial operation, 300MW under construction and the rest are being prepared for construction.

We are proud to bring a variety of tailored solutions to our partners, including consultancy services, private equity, mezzanine debt, EPC plus financing. We would not able to achieve this if we did not have generous support from our shareholders, partners and tireless effort of our executives and employees. On behalf of MIH, I sincerely appreciate such valuable support and dedication.

Vision:

Our vision is to become one of most reputable companies engaging in development of Independent Power Plant Projects in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). We aim to catalyze over a billion USD for investment in power projects in GMS nations over the next 5 years in the form of development capital, equity and debt. This will potentially contribute about 5 billion kWh source of electricity every year.

We actively seek and identify opportunities to develop IPP Projects located in GMS with our tailored solutions to make such projects technically and financially viable.
